Okay, So I googled myself!
I saw some pictures from when I first started this body of work, and wanted to illustrate what happens when you make the same thing over and over again:
Pretty dramatic! I have a few urchin bowls saved from batches every few months. Its like watching evolution.
Its too bad that the internet makes it impossible to eradicate the evidence of immature work, I guess the bright side is that the work has improved..

You're right about repeating the same thing over and over and watching the evolution. I often see that in some of the forms I make. I've been throwing the same cup form forever and it's disheartening to see the dumpy old ones, but nice to see the more uplifted form they have gotten to....I love those detail shots! Hope your new clay research is turning out good!
